In what can only be described as an inspirational on the Late Late Show on Friday night, Fr Tony Coote spoke candidly about how he was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease in March and how he isn’t afraid to die.
Sadly, Fr. Tony, who is aged in his 50s and a very good squash player, lost his mobility in June this year.
However it hasn’t stopped him. His Twitter handle is ‘walkwhileyoucan’ and it means more than just physical as he managed to help raise a staggering €450,000 for Motor Neurone research.
He said that dying is a beautiful thing as he’ll enter the next life. What a gentleman!
Well done, Fr. Tony.
